What Needs to Be Hauled Away

The following common yard materials require professional removal or a trip to a transfer station:

Sod and soil: Heavy and high-volume — not accepted curbside. Transfer stations charge by weight.

Large branches and logs: Anything above the curbside size limit requires drop-off or professional pickup.

Old lumber: Especially treated or painted wood — requires separate disposal.

Landscaping debris: Rock, gravel, mulch piles — not accepted at curbside.

Old fencing: Wood fencing can go to a transfer station; metal fencing is recyclable.
