How is junk removal priced?+
Guide prices are based on volume, meaning the space your items occupy in the removal truck. The more you have, the more it costs, but the per-item price goes down on bigger loads. Your provider confirms the exact price before work starts.
Is there a minimum charge?+
Yes — our minimum load starts at $129. This covers travel, labour, and disposal for small jobs.
Are there extra fees?+
No hidden fees. The confirmed quote covers labour, loading, transport, and disposal. Your provider should only change the quote if the job turns out to be significantly larger than described — and you should agree any change before work starts.
Do you charge for stairs or difficult access?+
A provider may add a carry-out fee for items that require multiple flights of stairs or very difficult access (e.g. narrow hallways, attic items). Ask the provider to disclose this during the quote, before work starts.
Do I need to be home?+
For most jobs, yes — the provider needs someone to confirm the items and approve the price. For pre-arranged jobs with a clear scope, the provider may be able to work without you present.
